Building the DrupalCon Munich Registration with Drupal Commerce

Submitted by Florian Lorétan on 2012-03-26 12:16

Sometimes the unexpected happens at the worst moment. Less than two weeks ago, when everyone in the DrupalCon Munich team had their plates full with tasks for the upcoming announcements in Denver, we realized that the registration forms on association.drupal.org would not meet our needs. This is the story of how we managed to leverage the strength of our community to solve our problem in style.

Contributors! Tell us what you need at DrupalCon Munich

One of the things that make DrupalCon such a unique conference is the opportunity to contribute to the Drupal project by working face to face with some of the best developers and all around Drupal wizards in the world. No need to say that this is a fantastic learning experience. At Wunderkraut, we highly value such active participation in the community.

This is why we decided to become sponsors for both the Contributor Lounge and Contribution Sprint at DrupalCon Munich.

Wunderkraut at the DrupalCon – play BOOTSTRAP-LEGO with us!!

Wunderkraut is present at the DrupalCon with a silver sponsor table. The "catch": We give away one copy per day of THE DEFINITVE GUIDE TO DRUPAL 7, _the_ great reading for Drupal 7. As one of the 30 co-authors, our Florian Lorétan's secured some of the rare copies (not even bookstores can order them at the moment from Apress) - and we give one away each day to the winner of our BOOTSTRAP LEGO game. Just drop by ar our table (1st floor to the right, in front of the door to the large auditorium). Then, just order lego bricks with Drupal facts on them (like the DrupalCons).
