We are a team of Drupal developers with years of experience in Drupal projects around the world. Before joining Wunderkraut, the founding members have been working
- as developers, consultants and tech leads
- in mid-size to big-size Drupal projects
- for small, medium-sized and high-end customers
- for high profile web shops and IT service providers
We founded Wunderkraut because we believe that we can accomplish better products for our clients if we combine our skills.
Team work scales up - this is one of the most important lessons we learned from working in the Drupal community.
Global development team
Drupal is a community software. Not only in terms of functionality, but in a literal sense.
Drupal was developed and extended by volunteers from all over the world - volunteers who believe in the spirit of open source technology.
Today, about one thousand people worldwide contribute to Drupal core alone. Thousands more build contributed modules and themes, offer support or write documentation - thus providing the technological basis for the service we can offer to our clients.
Wunderkraut would not be where it is today without Drupal's Open Source Community. We value and leverage the close human and technical relations that make the Drupal project so special.
Our contribution to the community
For us, working for our clients is only one part of the job. The other part of our daily routine is driven by our commitment to the Drupal community.
It is important for us to leave our team members the space to contribute back to the community. This also means that we stay up to date with the latest developments and continuously hone our Drupal skills.
Our team members are active
- as co-organisers of local Drupal meet-ups and events
- as co-organizers of well-known Drupal conferencs (e.g. DrupalCon Munich 2012 and DrupalDevDays 2010 in Munich)
- as co-authors of books and publications around Drupal
- as Drupal core-contributors and (co-)maintainers of several modules (Two members of Wunderkraut are among the top-100 Drupal 7 contributors)
